Yeah, that turned away body language screams "enthusiasm" all right! Glad to see that Ellery is finally breaking free from Kristin's spell, so to speak. Under different circumstances, I might feel a bit sorry for Kristin at this point, but given how manipulative Kristin is, I can't bring myself to feel much of anything for her either. "You should try some other color (and become my clone)," indeed!
I agree with Evie. Must say I expected something like this ever since she banished Lucien. But I hope you'll make Ellery squirm for another chapter or so.
It's pretty safe to say that Ellery doesn't feel the same way about Kristin anymore. This is going to be an interesting visit after they've been a part for so long.
Kristen's already played the "love me or I'll kill myself and it'll be All Your Fault" card, right? The toughest part for Ellery will be dealing with whatever shiny new guilt trip Kristen brought for a gift.
And Kristen is the most unpleasant and self-centered, impolite whatnot *rants*
*relieved sigh*good that Ellery seems to start to question her feelings for Kristen. So, what will happen next?!*hinthint*
Because your girlfriend sucks for you and needs some therapy rather than a significant other? Aw Ellery luv, you will figure it out!
These characters are so immensely relatable. Which my spellcheck says isn't a word, though it also says "spellcheck" isn't a word (not that it technically is but still) so I'm keeping it.
